What should be in an introduction? There isn't one way to write an introduction, and following one particular structure could lead to your introductions becoming very formulaic. You might introduce the main subject of the essay and why it is an important topic. You may also provide definitions for any ambiguous terms or concepts.
In an analysis report, sometimes called a recommendation report, the writer attempts to solve a problem by evaluating options and suggesting solutions. Though objective data is presented, the bulk of the report is analysis of that data to help the reader make a decision.
A case study ending is your opportunity to bring some closure to the story that you are writing. So, you can use it to mention the status of the project (e.g., is it ongoing or has it ended?) and then to demonstrate the impact that your work has had.
Writing the report. Having organised your material into appropriate sections and headings you can begin to write your report. Aim for a writing style that is direct and precise. Avoid waffle and make your points clearly and concisely. Sections and even individual paragraphs should be written with a clear structure.
